Erna A. Campbell

Erna Campbell, 88, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on October 21, 2026, in the Forest Park Nursing Home. She was born October 14, 1938, in Shippensburg, PA, to the late Dana Franklin and Myrtle B. (Dotterer) Porter.

Erna worked for Messiah College as the head custodian. She was a member of the New Life Community Church in Mt. Holly Springs. Erna enjoyed being with family and friends, especially her best friend Pauline McAllister. In her spare time, Erna enjoyed playing games, her favorite being Scrabble.

Erna is survived by several nieces and nephews; and brother, Earl D. Porter of Carlisle. In addition to her parents, Erna was preceded in death by her siblings, James F. Porter, Dorothy Barnes, Jean Varner, Mary Johnston, Wanda Keck and Dana Franklin Porter, Jr.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Jeff Kettering officiating. A viewing will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., and one hour prior to services on Wednesday. Burial will take place in the Pleasant Hall Cemetery, Pleasant Hall, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church, 202 N Baltimore Ave, Mount Holly Springs, PA 17065.
