Elizabeth Garner

Elizabeth Dorothy Garner, 89, of Gardners passed away Saturday, October 6, 2018 in the UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle. She was born August 11, 1929 in Gettysburg to the late Albert and Florence Spidle Kane and was the widow of Paul L. (PG) Garner, who passed away January 20, 2005. She retired from the former Piezo Crystal, Carlisle and was an Auxiliary member of the VFW Post 7343.

Surviving are her children, Paula E. Paxton of Chambersburg and Paul E. Garner of Gardners; grandchildren, Robert (Jessica) Wardecker of Austin, AR, Jonathan (Tracy) Wardecker of Carlisle, Matthew Wardecker of Gardners, Travis Garner of Newville and Kaitlyn Jo Deboard of Lebanon, PA; great-grandchildren, Travis Garner of Newville, Mason  and Chase Wardecker of Carlisle and Parker Wardecker of AR; and brother, Michael Kane of Biglerville and sisters, Dolores Cooper of Santa Rosa, CA, Florence Baker of Fairfield, PA, Shirley McKenzie of St. Mary, FL, Nellie Heller of Aspers and Ellen Doll of Hanover. She was preceded in death by Vivian Walter, James Kane, Albert Kane, John Kane, Rosalie Kane.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA with Rev.
