Dwight E. Rhoades

Dwight E. Rhoades, 85, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born February 23, 1941, in Carlisle to the late Joseph and Nerine (Weibley) Rhoades.

Dwight was a self proclaimed jack of all trades, master of none. His family will always remember his many projects/mishaps. He was an avid fisherman and spent many days at the river on his boat. He enjoyed going to fishing tournaments with his son. Dwight loved to go to his cabin in Potter County. Whether it was hunting with the boys or driving around the back roads with wife, he was happiest there. 

Surviving are his children, Lorri Bowers (Gene) of Mt. Holly Springs, Lisa Jumper (Christopher) of Newville, and Mark Rhoades of Carlisle; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren; and brother, Steve Rhoades of Carlisle. In addition to his parents, Dwight was preceded in death by his son, Matt Rhoades and brother, Dwayne Rhoades.
