Doris Ann Hostetter

Doris Ann Hostetter, 90, of Loysville, PA, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026, in the Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center. She was born April 14, 1936, in Carlisle to the late Kenneth and Delta (Gardner) Smith. She was the widow of Ray Edward Hostetter who passed away in September of 2017.

Doris was a member of the West Hill United Methodist Church in Carlisle. She loved to cook, do crafts, go camping, and listen to gospel music. Doris family were her pride and joy and loved them all dearly.

Surviving is her son, Alan (Sharon) Hostetter of Carlisle, Andy (Lynette) Hostetter of Carlisle, and Kristine Stoak of Shermans Dale; foster child, Bill Bekan of Plainfield; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; siblings, Sandy, Esther, Ron, and Pat. In addition to her parents and husband, Doris was preceded in death by her foster son, Michael Holston; siblings, Hazel, Joyce, and Richard; and stepfather, Norm Smith.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs.
