Debra K. Morris

Debra K. Morris, 72, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2026, in the Forest Park Nursing Home, Carlisle. She was born on August 28, 1953, in Carlisle to the late Ross J. and Margaret Janet (Clever) Richwine. She was the widow of Gary Morris.

Debra worked for the Claremont Nursing Home in Carlisle for many years and later as a school van driver for Miller Transportation. She loved listening to classic rock music, taking walks especially at Boiling Springs Lake, cooking, sitting at Laurel Lake, bowling and watching her son, Jakes baseball games.

Surviving are her children, Jake Burkepile (Michelle) of Newville and Michael Burkepile of Shermansdale; stepdaughters, Richelle Sorge and Jenna Stenger; siblings, Tammy Straw, Larry and Roger Richwine; grandchildren, Grace, Graysen, and Rowen and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt. Holly Springs.
