David T. Frank

David T. Frank, 76, of Gardners, PA, passed away Friday, May 2, 2025, in his residence. He was born on September 20, 1948, in Decatur, Il, to the late Dean and Helen (King) Frank.

David graduated from Cedar Cliff High School, Class of 1967 and joined the military for three years, where he became a United States Army Veteran. Following the military, David went on to work for the Mechanicsburg Naval Supply Depot. He worked for the next 25 years at the Naval Supply Depot, as a carpenter, before retiring. Following retirement, David would work side jobs in carpentry and woodworking. His memberships include, lifetime member of the Dillsburg VFW, Post 6771, member of the American Legion, Post 674, and member of the Hill Island River Rats. In his younger years, David enjoyed sports, especially playing softball. He followed Baseball, especially the Washington Nationals, and College sports, especially Penn State. David enjoyed the outdoors and occasional trips to Potter County to ride Snowmobiles with his son, Steve. He was an animal lover, especially his dog.

Surviving is his loving wife of 53 years, Betty Frank of Gardners; Son, Steve Frank (Laura) of Gardners; grandchildren, Wyatt and Dean Frank; brother, Donald Frank (Mary); and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 5:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Pastor Heather Kurtz officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service and burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Adams County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Rd., Gettysburg, PA 17325 or Zion United Church of Christ, 22 Gettysburg St., Arendtsville, PA 17303.
