Darlene Herr

Darlene L. Herr, 78, of Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont, PA and formerly of Mt. Holly Springs and Carlisle, PA passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2016  in the Evangelical  Community Hospital in Lewisburg, PA.  Born August 2, 1937 in Mt. Holly Springs, PA to the late Merrill P. and Gertrude Minnich Herr; she graduated from Boiling Springs High School and retired from Leer Corp.

Darlene is survived by two daughters, Pamela J. Hunter of Mechanicsburg and Kimberly Kelly of Lebanon; two sister-in-laws, Betty Herr and Nina Herr; and several nieces and nephews. Darlene was predeceased by a son, Kevin M. Burguard;  five brothers, Merrill P. Jr., Paul C., Stephen L., Ronald L. and Lawrence Herr; and two sisters, Pauline W. Alspaugh and Mary Alspaugh.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery on Watts Street with Rev. Matthew Plant officiating.
