Clara Kimmel

Clara I.(Hair) Kimmel, 97, of Boiling Springs, PA passed away into the arms of her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 in the UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle. She was born February 6, 1921 in Brandtsville, PA to the late Harry W. and Grace (Dutrey) Hair and was the widow of Harold W. Kimmel who passed away on May 25, 2010.

Clara, along with her husband ministered to the spiritual and physical needs of the people of southeastern Kentucky  for 35 years.

She is survived by her children, Thomas and wife Jane of Boiling Springs, PA, Sandra Kimmel and husband George Robbins of Columbia, SC, Helen Kimmel of Dillsburg, PA and Carole Kimmel Nebel and husband Thomas of Nashville, TN; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren,1 great-great-grandchild and expecting 3 more. Also surviving are two sisters, Violet Ramp of Dillsburg, Evelyn Reighter of Carlisle, and a brother, Robert of Dillsburg. Clara was preceded in death by her siblings, Viola Hair Kuhn, David, Harry, and Glenn Hair, and a great grandson Trevor Adams.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 1, 2018 with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM followed by a Celebration of her life at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs,  PA  17065 with Rev. Kurt Kimmel  officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
