Charlotte L. Hurley

Charlotte L. Hurley, 91, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on October 12, 2026, in the UPMC Carlisle Hospital. She was born on July 11, 1935, to the late Earl and Anna (O'Hara) Calaman. She was the widow of Ray D. Hurley who passed away in February of 2013.

Charlotte worked at Karns Food in Boiling Springs in the bakery and previously at Hughes Supermarket in Mt. Holly Springs. She loved to read in her spare time.

Surviving are her children, Richard D. and Michael L. Hurey (Maria), Elizabeth A. Goodyear, and Marlene Yount (Dean); five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Rothermal and Dottie Patterson. In addition to her parents and husband, Charlotte was preceded in death by her grandsons, Matthew Yount and Jeremy Goodyear; and brother, Raymond Calaman.

Graveside Services will be held Monday, October 19, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery, 2 Watts Street, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Pastor Tim Wheeler officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Celtic Hospice, 900 Century Drive, Suite 201
