Charles Montgomery

Charles Richard "Rick" Montgomery, 54, of Arlington, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Collierville, TN. He was born February 28, 1962 in Limestone, Maine to Peggy Marie Barry of FL and the late Charles Marshall Montgomery.

Rick was a Chief Petty Officer in the US Navy serving on numerous ships in the Atlantic Fleet.  He was a loving husband, devoted Father and friend to all. He was extremely patriotic, an avid soccer coach and a huge fan of THE Ohio State Buckeyes. GO BUCKS !!!

In addition to his Mother surviving  Rick is his wife of 15 years, Carrie Mortorff Montgomery; two daughters, Kyra and Alena, both at home. Also surviving are two brothers, Steve Montgomery of FL and John Montgomery of CA; and nieces and nephews. Rick was predeceased by a sister, Joy Helmerich.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday December 27, 2016 at the Uriah United Methodist Church, 925 Goodyear Road, Gardners, PA at 11:00 AM with Chaplain Jason Ragain officiating. Burial will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville PA, with full Military Honors. A Viewing will be held Monday, December 26, 2016 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home and Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt Holly Springs, PA 17065.
