Charles J. Ilaria Jr.

Charles J. Ilaria, 73, of Carlisle, passed away on November 17, 2023, at UPMC Carlisle. Charles was born December 19, 1949, to the late Charles J. Sr. and Frances (Maffia) Ilaria.

Charles graduated from Carlisle High School, Class of 1967. He proudly served our nation in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He loved to sail, go metal detecting, and work on leather projects. Charles was a member of the American Legion Post 101, AmVets Post 274, and VFW Post 477.

Surviving is his loving wife, Isabel C. (Cohen) Ilaria of Carlisle; daughter, Lisa Ilaria of Carlisle; grandchildren, Anthony, Christine, Ashley, Miranda, Kira, Kamden, and Kinsley; six great-grandchildren, sister, Cynthia Wilson of Gardners; niece, Tracy, and nephew, Michael. Charles was preceded in death by his son, Charles Ilaria III, and brother, Frank Ilaria.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.
