Carol Guistwite

Carol G. Guistwite, 70, of Carlisle, PA, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018 in Bennington, VT. She was born April 16, 1947 in Frackville, PA to the late Roy Andrews and her mother Lois Yarnell Andrews of Carlisle, PA.

During her life, she was employed as her husband’s office manager for many years and prior to that she was a secretary and stenographer working for various law firms. Carol was a member of the West Shore Evangelical Free Church, Carlisle Garden Club and the Cumberland County Railroad Society. She enjoyed gardening and dearly she loved her grandchildren and spending time with them.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband of 50 years, Dr. Kenneth R. Guistwite; son, Dr. Darryl Kenneth Guistwite and his wife Michelle and daughter, Renee Carol Guistwite and husband Seth; and loving grandchildren, Sarah, Owen, Kenzie and Kai, all of Carlisle, PA. Also surviving are her brothers, Ron, Dave and Jeff Andrews, all of Frackville, PA.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, February 17 at 2:00 PM in her church, 1345 Williams Grove Rd., Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 with Rev. Trent Thompson officiating.
