Betty "Pat" P. Shearer

Betty “Pat” P. Shearer, 96, of Dover, PA, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022, in the Providence Place of Dover. She was born April 3, 1926, in Sykesville, PA, to the late Lincoln and Christine (Shaffer) Long and was the widow of Paul E Shearer who passed November 8, 2020.

Pat was an Elementary School teacher and a Librarian for the Carlisle School District. She was a graduate of Shippensburg University and was a member of National Education Association and Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees. She attended and was also a member of the Barnitz United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Jan C. Brymesser (Dennis) of Boiling Springs; and grandson, Jared C. Brymesser of Owings Mills, MD. She was preceded in death by her daughter Jill C. Shaffer and Son-in-Law, Donald Shaffer.
