Betty Mullen

Betty L. Bistline Mullen, 87, formally of Carlisle, PA passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017 in Chapel Pointe of Carlisle. Born August 15, 1929 in Carlisle, PA to the late George K. and Clara B. Drawbaugh Bistline Sr., she was the widow of George Mullen.

Betty retired from the former C.H. Masland & Sons where she was theExecutive Secretary for the late Frank Masland. She was a member of the St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Carlisle and was active in the Altar Guild. In her spare time, Betty enjoyed gardening and loved to travel.

Betty is survived by her sister, Mary and husband Roger Nelson of Carlisle; four brothers, Charles (Ed) and wife Betty Bistline, Franklin Bistline, James and wife Lucy Bistline, Ronald (Lou) and wife Marilyn Bistline, all of Carlisle; and many nieces and nephews.

A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle, PA with Rev. Rob Moore officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to her church at 201 West Louther St., Carlisle, PA 17013. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home, Mt. Holly Springs, PA.
