Betty Gutshall

Betty L. Gutshall, 81, of Carlisle, PA, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2021, in the Penn State Holy Spirit Hospital. She was born September 10, 1940, in Ickesburg, PA, to the late Robert and Tillie (Strawser) Sheaffer. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis L. Gutshall.

She retired from Chapel Pointe Nursing Home and was a member of the Huntsdale Church Of-Brethren. Betty also enjoyed collecting antiques.

Surviving are her two daughters, Sondra Shearer of Shippensburg, and Vonda Sweger (Linus) of Carlisle; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert, and William Sheaffer both of Millerstown.

She is preceded in death by her one son, Jeffrey Gutshall.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065.
