Betty Elam

Betty Jean Elam, 74, of Dickinson Twp., Carlisle passed away to her heavenly father Sunday, December 23, 2012 at her home. She was born December 13, 1938 in Morehead, Kentucky to the late Samuel & Eliza Miller Coldiron. During her life, Betty Jean attended the Church of God Church. She liked to decorate and was a good cook. Her husband, who is in the building trade, had her help him with house finishing work, especially with painting and staining.
Betty is survived by her husband Norman and daughter Robbin Rae (Tom) Masten of Carlisle. Also surviving is a step daughter, Sandra Lynn (Robert) Torre of Santa Rosa, CA; a step son, Mark Elam of Morehead, Kentucky and three step grandchildren, Matt Torre , Mandy Elam and Cody.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, December 27 at 1:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs with Rev. Donald Snyder officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. There will be a visitation will be Thursday from 12 noon until 1:00 PM.
