Bessie Fanus

Bessie Elizabeth "Liz" Fanus, 70, of Boiling Springs, PA passed away on June 21, 2020 in the UPMC West Shore. She was born in Mt. Union on October 27, 1949 to the late Leroy and Agnes Jane (Sager) Rutter.

Bessie retired from Ahold as a clerical worker. Very artistic, she loved making crafts and painting ceramics. Bessie also enjoyed reading, completing puzzles, going to dirt track races and spending time with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald Eugene Fanus of Carlisle; children, Brian Fanus (Mandy) of Mt. Holly Springs and Audra Fanus of Boiling Springs; grandchildren, Dylan Coyle, Brandon Fanus, Torey Coyle, Erik Coyle and Morgan Fanus; and great-granddaughter, Olivia Coyle. Also surviving are siblings, Gladys Lou Beam (Ed) of Carlisle, Marie O'Donell (Howard) of Galton and Dorsey Rutter (Mary) of Orefield and several nieces and nephews. Bessie was preceded in death by her daughter, Rhonda Fanus and sister, Audrey Diven.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 26, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Richard L.
