Benjamin Andrew Linebaugh, 19, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026, as the result of a tragic motorcycle accident.
He was born on January 25, 2007, in Harrisburg to Don and Judy (McAtamney) Linebaugh.
Ben thoroughly enjoyed many aspects of his life and was always able to make time for the things that brought him happiness. He especially loved riding his motorcycle, spending time fishing and enjoying nature, and hanging out with his friends. He was known to frequently light up a situation with his own brand of humor and pranks which are commonly relived by his many friends. Ben was known as a kind soul who would frequently stop and help someone who he thought was in need. He has been described by many as kind, hard working, and a great friend who they looked up to and was an inspiration to them.
He attended Trinity High School, Boiling Springs High School, and Cumberland Perry Area Career and Technology Center, where he studied Automotive Technology. Ben spent countless hours rebuilding and tinkering with cars and motorcycles. He thoroughly enjoyed family trips to the beach and to national parks such as Acadia, Glacier, Arches, Zion, and others. In recent years Ben worked for Twirly Top, Cold Springs Brewing Company, Blue Beacon, and most recently the UPS depot in Carlisle where he was working toward his first career goal of driving the large regional transport trucks.
In addition to his parents, Ben is survived by his siblings, Madeline, Heather, Danielle, and Garrett Linebaugh; maternal grandparents, Robert and Angela McAtamney; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ben was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Eva Linebaugh.
