Barry Lynn Russell

Barry Lynn Russell, 77, of Newville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, in the Green Ridge Village Nursing Home, Newville. He was born on January 8, 1949, in Carlisle to the late Ernest and Loretta (Nickel) Russell.

Barry retired from Carlisle Shoe factory. He loved riding his motorcycle with his wife, Helen, and dog, Tiny. Barry enjoyed vacationing at the beach and loved Roses.

Surviving is his loving wife of 58 years, Helen (Brownawell) Russell; children, Richard (Teresa) Brownawell of Newville, Terry (Linda) Russell, Murray Russell (companion, Pam), and Sandy (Edwin) Webster; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; and siblings, Mike and Steve Russell, Lisa Jumper, and Becky Lawrence. In addition to his parents, Barry was preceded in death by his four uncles and one aunt.

Per Barrys wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Association, Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
