Audrey B. Fickel, 84, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026, in the UPMC Carlisle Hospital. She was born November 2, 1941, in Carlisle to the late Vann Harry and Lorraine (Richwine) Brandt and was the widow of Charles W. "Cork" Fickel Jr., who passed away in August of 2022.

Audrey was a Boiling Springs High School graduate class of 1959. She worked for McCoy Electronics in 2001 where she then retired with more than 20 years of service. Audrey was a member of Mt. Victory United Christian Church in Gardners where she taught Children’s Sunday School for many years and sang in the church choir. Audrey most importantly loved the Lord with all her heart, and she loved her family well. Audreys life reflected both of theses in the way she lived her life every day.

Surviving are her children, Wendy (Tim) Shughart of Boiling Springs, Laurie (Matt) Compher of Waynesboro, Wade (Deb) Fickel of York Springs, and David Fickel of Dillsburg; eight grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Audrey was preceded in death by her sister, Barb Brandt.

Memorial Services will be held Friday, February 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the Mt. Victory United Christian Church, 1 Victory Church Road, Gardners, PA 17324 with the Rev. Dr. Bryan Mann officiating. Burial will take place in the Mt. Victory Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church, Mt. Victory United Christian Church.
