Anthony Hubert Shughart

Anthony Hubert Shughart, 84, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on March 29, 2024, in the UPMC Carlisle Hospital. He was born December 11, 1939, in Carlisle to the late Nelson P. and Cordelia (Ripple) Shughart.

Anthony worked as a dry wall installer. He was a member of the Amvets Post 274, Carlisle Club, and Eagles Aerie 1299. Anthony loved farming, hunting, and fishing.

Surviving is his companion, Mary Eileen (Burd) Kuhn of Carlisle; siblings, Shirley Burttorff, Elwood Shughart, Elaine Paulus, Lynda Shughart, and Kevin Shughart. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gary and Alfred Shughart.
