Anna Marie Ramsey, 85, of Mt. Holly Springs, PA, passed away at her home on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, to be with Our Lord. She was born July 20,1932 in Mt. Holly Springs, to the late Marion W. & Mary Zug Stoner and was the widow of Gilbert D. Ramsey, who passed away April 20, 2008.

Anna Marie lived in Philadelphia for nearly 25 years with her late husband and children. She was active in the Ridge Avenue Methodist Church,where she taught Sunday School and Bible School, was past president of their Woman’s Society and helped with other church events. The family moved back to Mt. Holly Springs when her husband was transferred to Harrisburg by his employer, the Chrysler Corp. of Detroit, Michigan.Anna Marie was active in the Mt. Holly Springs United Methodist Church; helping start and headed the Holy Thursday “Living Lord’s Supper”, for many yearsand organized the “Hanging of the Greens” program during the Christmas Season. She also worked in the church office, helped to create the newsletter, assisted with funeral luncheons and turkey suppers, helping to make stuffing and cutting delicious desserts to be served. Anna Marie belonged to many organizations; she was past president of Hattel-Taylor VFW Post #333 of Philadelphia and past president of the Carlisle Garden Club. She had many “grandchildren” from the Carlisle Dairy Queen and will be rememberedas “Grandma to all” she worked with and served.

She is survived by her son and his wife, G. Scott & Lisa Ramsey of Mt. Holly Springs and daughter, Sharon L. Ramsey Rhinehart of Camillas, NY, four grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her sister, Winifred Adams who passed in 1989.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Mt. Holly Springs United Methodist Church, 202 West Butler St., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Edward Alwine officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church. Online condolences may be made to www.hollingerfuneralhome.com . A luncheon will follow the services at the church.
