Albert Failor

June 20, 1947 — May 17, 2019

Albert E. Failor III, 71,  formerly of Carlisle, PA, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2019 in the Shippensburg Health Care Center. He was born June 20, 1947 to the late Albert E. Failor II and Mary K. Shaffer Failor.

Albert attended the Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints Church, Mechanicsburg and retired from Carlisle Tire and Rubber. He was a 1967 graduate of Carlisle High School. Fishing, visiting the duck pond, bowling and watching animal shows on TV were his favorite pastimes. Mostly, he enjoyed spending time with family.

He is survived by his daughter, Christina A. Lehner (Joseph) of Newville and siblings, Betty J. Fortney of Dillsburg and Mary E. Sampson of Carlisle. Albert was predeceased by his siblings, Roy U. Failor, Ruth A. Drayer and Anna Mae Fettrow.

A memorial service will be held June 8, 2019, at 10:00 AM in the McClure's Gap Church of God, 130 Church of God Rd., Newville, PA 17241 with Rev. Bradley Culwell officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, RT 422 & Sipe Ave., Hershey, PA 17033.
