Adrienne E. Townsend

Adrienne E. Townsend, 63, of Newville, PA, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025, in her home. She was born on September 29, 1962, in Peru, Indiana, to the late James and Connie Lou (Billig) McHugh.

Adrienne worked for United Telephone serving 36 years before retirement. She was a member of the 2nd Presbyterian Church in Carlisle and was an avid gardener. Adrienne enjoyed being outdoors, especially kayaking and boating. In her spare time, she liked to paint and draw.

Surviving is her loving husband, William K. Townsend of Newville; children, Ashtyne Townsend of Hagerstown, MD, and William (Angela) Townsend of Carlisle; grandchildren, Xavier and Adryana Queen. In addition to her parents, Adrienne was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael and Steve McHugh.
