Ada D. (Kuhn) Myers, 85, of Gardners, PA, peacefully passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026, at her daughter’s home. She was born on September 25, 1940, in Carlisle, to the late George I. and Mary E. (Baker) Kuhn, and was the widow of Robert E. Myers, who passed away in October 2018. They were married for 59 years.
Ada attended Boiling Springs High School and later earned her GED. She retired from Penn Dutch Candies, where she served as a lead in the packaging department and was well loved by her coworkers. She was especially known for making the best peanut butter eggs and fried chicken.
Ada cherished time with her children and grandchildren and loved sharing the joy of the holidays with them. She was a kind and loving person who was dearly loved by all. She was a member of Mt. Victory United Christian Church in Gardners.
She is survived by her children, Barbara (Douglas) Guise of Gardners, Robert B. (Cindy) Myers of York Springs, and Thomas E. Myers of Gardners; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; siblings Christine Refalskey, Charles Kuhn, and Eleanor Marks and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ada was preceded in death by her siblings James Kuhn, George Kuhn, Mary Jane Weidner, P. Elizabeth Fawber, and Jeanne Kuhn.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Mt. Victory United Methodist Church, 1 Victory Church Rd., Gardners, PA 17324, with Pastor Brian Mann and Pastor Bob Marsh officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service, and burial will follow in Mt. Holly Springs Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Victory United Christian Church. Condolences may be offered to the family at HollingerFuneralHome.com.
