Virginia Svec

Virginia C. Svec, 88, of Carlisle, PA passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 in her cottage at Cumberland Crossings, Carlisle, PA. She was born June 12, 1928 in Baltimore, MD to the late Joseph F. and Rosanna V. Kimbel Cacace. She was the widow of James J. Svec who passed away September 22, 2009.

Virginia was a graduate of the former MD State Teachers College-Towson University, University of MD and John Hopkins University. She was an elementary school teacher in Baltimore City for 7 years and Baltimore County for 23 years.

She is survived by her niece, Charlotte V. Lawyer, her husband Dennis, of York, and great nephew Christopher M. Lawyer of Gaithersburg, MD. Virginia was predeceased by a brother, William J. Warmbold and a sister, Charlotte N. Bauernfeind.
