I worked with Vern from 1992-1996 and he had to train me on a job. He was always patient and taught me well. Knowing that I was a Christian, he let me read an article written by a young priest in a Catholic magazine. As much as this young priest loved the Catholic Church, he made it clear that it is not the Catholic Church that gets you to Heaven but it is only by putting one's faith in Christ and accepting His forgiveness. Vern wanted me to read that article and I will always remember it. Bruce Barner
