Oh the places we have been and the fun we have had through all the years.  Last week I walked our favorite sea glass beach alone and  remembered our bags of glass and the joy we had.. You will always be remembered fondly by Bill and I.

It hurts my heart to know that you are no longer with us, but the happiness and peace you must now feel being with Lisa is beyond my imagination. You were one of a kind and there will never be another quite like you. I love you, Fan.

George always spoke with the greatest affection of his Aunt Ruth Ann,  who was part of his happiest childhood memories and who continued  to be a source of love and comfort in the difficult times that followed;  a strong, dependable and selfless Aunt, who stood ready to help her  family, and so many others as well.  I first visited Carlisle with George at Christmas, twenty years ago. The  door opened wide and I saw the great joy in Aunt Ruth Ann’s eyes upon seeing George again, giving him a big hug.  She made me feel included and instantly welcome in her home. They reminisced, and  rekindled the happier moments of times gone past. Such visits are always  much too short.  I know much less of Aunt Ruth Ann’s life than you all do. I wish to  extend my deep sympathy for your loss to you – her family and friends.  How few people are there still, whose nature it is to welcome, and  help people unbidden, because it is the right thing to do?  I feel fortunate  to have known such a kind and generous soul.  “Be not forgetful to entertain strangers, for  thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”                                                                                 Hebrews 13:3

So sad to learn of Ruth Ann's passing.  Sending DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO HER FAMILY.  She will be missed by so many people.  She could light up any room with that chatty little personality of hers.  May you rest in peace my dear sweet friend.
