Ralph Smith Sr.

Ralph L. Smith Sr., 76, of Carlisle, PA, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. Born September 19, 1942, he is survived by his wife of 54 years, Cheryl D. Zell Smith.

Ralph enjoyed hunting and was an avid golfer. After owning his own construction business, he was employed as a building inspector for the city of Harrisburg and retired with ten years of service. Ralph was a life member of the NRA, belonged to the Eagles Aerie #1299 and the Carlisle Moose Lodge.  Also, he was a member and fire fighter for the Cumberland Fire Co. Ralph was  a giving and generous individual, always ready and willing to help and did not expect anything in return.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Bryan K. Smith and his wife, Kimberly and grandchildren, Bailey A. and Jason A. Smith and Conner White. Ralph was preceded in death by his son, Ralph L. Smith Jr.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
