Mildred Trostle

Mildred Irene Trostle, 87, formerly of York Springs, PA, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2016 in the Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle, PA. She was born January 27, 1929 in York Springs, PA to the late Gilbert and Phoebe Kennedy Miller.

Mildred was a lifelong member of the York Springs United Methodist Church. She was a former volunteer for the York Springs Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and the American Cancer Society. Her favorite hobbies were reading, walking, and enjoying music, as well as, cooking and baking for others

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Harry L. Trostle of Carlisle and formerly of York Springs; a daughter, Mitzi Lee Trostle of Harrisburg; her former son-in-law, Michael H. Dodson of Fort Lauderdale, FL; a brother, Donald R. Miller of York Springs; and many nieces and nephews whom she treasured.

Services will be at the convenience of the family and interment will be in the Sunnyside Cemetery, York Springs.
