LouAnn Slyder

LouAnn Slyder, 57, of Harrisburg, PA, passed away on September 27, 2021, in the UPMC Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg. She was born June 17, 1964, in Carlisle, PA, to the late Frank and Mary M. (Minnich) Slyder Sr.

LouAnn was a graduate of Carlisle High School and worked for the Governor’s Executive Offices in Harrisburg. She enjoyed gardening and shopping.

She is survived by her siblings, Frank Slyder Jr. of Travelers Rest, SC, David Slyder of Greenville, SC, Letitia Fuller of New Cumberland, Patricia Bear of Carlisle, and James Slyder of Mt. Holly Springs.  In addition, she is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Sunday, October 3, 2021, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave. Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Visit www.HollingerFuneralHome.com to offer condolences to the family.

I was able to grow up with Louann and we were good friends in school. She will be truly missed Prayers to her family

I knew LouAnn from working in the Executive Offices. She was always friendly and willing to help. She will be missed by all. My condolences and prayers go out to her family. Rest In Peace LouAnn.
