Guestbook

I met Kellie in 1990 when I moved to Carlisle.  A year later I moved to Washington DC and for over 11 years I drove the almost 2 hour drive four to six times a year to see Kellie and get my hair done.  No one was as talented as Kellie, not even in Washington DC.  She was young and single when we met and I was blessed to be a small part of her life when she fell in love, got married, started Diodato Design, and had a baby girl.  Eventually work commitments prevented me from being able to make those long trips and we lost touch.  Tonight I Googled Kellie to see if I could find her because my hair is a disaster and I was willing to take that drive again in hopes Kellie could fix it.  I could not believe what I read...I still can't.  I am so sad for her whole family.  She was spunky, adorable, open, and she made everyone feel welcome,  Such a professional and, clearly, adored.  I'm so said and disappointed that I will not get to see her one more time.  I wish I had looked for her earlier.  "I THANK MY GOD UPON EVERY REMEMBERANCE OF YOU"  Philippians 1:3

Thirty years ago I started going to Kellie as my stylist every 5 weeks because I had heard how talented she was. She always listened to me and knew just what to do. I never went to another stylist after that. However, I know that it was also because of our wonderful conversations, book exchanges and her ever ready generosity of spirit. Kellie was professional and at the same time she connected with people. She was open-minded , flexible, warm and very kind. So many people will miss her. She spoke with so much love about her family and their gatherings (and the food!)  so I am sure you will really miss her. We spoke a lot about how much joy our grandchildren brought us so I hope Kole and Kash will always know how much she really cared about them. I am sure the rest of you have loving  memories from your own lives . In so many ways , she added positively to peoples' lives.

Dear beautiful Kelly... I will miss you❤️ I’ve known Kelly since she was a teenager. I am so sorry for her family in words that just can’t be expressed. She expressed her love and happiness for her entire family, her beautiful daughter, her wonderful mom and grand children and her love for Kenny. These were always her favorite conversation topics...

Linda and family so sorry for your loss and that I didn't get there to support you. May God comfort, guide and bless through this difficult time.  We never know why. If she was anything like you she was one special woman. Hugs and love

What a wonderful person we have lost- loving and caring and so kind. For 30 years a fantastic friend  and stylist. I will miss you - your smile and your hugs too. My love and my hugs to all of you as you deal with such a tragic loss.

Dear Mike...I’m Zack Barrick’s mother and I hope you remember me. You were there when Zack passed away and now I just want to let you know how sad I am to read of your mother’s passing. I just happened to see this tonight - perhaps it was Zack pointing me here. I want to reach out to you to extend my love and deepest sympathy. I wish I could hug you too. May God hold you close.

I will always remember a family reunion where Kellie and her family were camping at Seneca Lake. After the official reunion was over, family members gathered where they were camping and were treated to s'mores and a blazing camp fire. There was so much joy and love present in that cozy corner. And presiding over it all was one of the nicest, most effervescent  people I have ever met. That would be Kellie Lynn Diodato. A shining star of God's grace fs there ever was one. They don't make them any more able to make other people feel valued and important. Gone much too soon!

I am so saddened by the loss of Kellie . We met years ago when I moved to Pa. I had the privilege of working with Kellie when she had “Diodato Salon” we had many fun times & laughs. I always will remember the weekend we spent together in New York City , so happy to have those memories. Remembered but Never forgotten ❤️🙏💐

To Family and Friends of Kellie, I was saddened to read about her passing. I only knew Kellie for a few years; but her presence always brought laughter. May she Rest In Peace.
