John Fisher

John Wesley Fisher, 61, formerly of Boiling Springs, PA passed away at his home in Baltimore, MD on Thursday, June 22, 2017. John was born April 2, 1956 in Carlisle, PA to the late Cyrus and Viola Au lthouse Fisher.

He retired from the VA Hospital in Baltimore, MD, was a former member of the Methodist Church, Boiling Springs and served in the U.S. Air Force. An avid reader, he enjoyed learning about Egyptian history, archeology and genealogy.

John is survived by his siblings, Marilyn Brenizer of Boiling Springs, Paul and Dave Fisher, both of Newville and Mike Fisher of PA, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Daniel Dennis officiating. Interment will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
