Jamie Darhower "Uncle"

Jamie Lee Darhower "Uncle", 27, of Carlisle PA passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 in Carlisle. He was born June 26, 1988 in Hershey, PA to Stephen L. and Tammy Darr Darhower of Mt. Holly Springs.

Jamie most recently started working for Valley View Masonry and prior to that was employed by Michael B. Stoner Lawn care Inc. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 1299 of Carlisle. Jamie enjoyed being outdoors, especially hiking and fishing He got his nickname by helping anyone who needed it and  being everybody's favorite "UNCLE'.

In addition to his parents Jamie is survived by two sisters, Tosha Darr (Ryan Weigle) and Tara Darr both of Mt. Holly Springs. A step brother, Stephen L. Darhower of Carlisle and a Paternal Grandmother, Helen Bouder of North Middleton Twp. Also surviving Jamie is a cousin Michelle Sheely of Wormleysburg and nieces and nephews, Kaylee, Cailyn, Kaleb, Kassidy, Cameron and Laela.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA with the Rev. Roddy Runyan Officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Thursday. Burial will take place at the North Middleton Church of God Cemetery. I only met Jamie a few times and have seen him play with one of his neices while walking by one day, but it was obvious to me that he was golden hearted and kind young man. I am so sorry for your terrible loss.
