James Lyke

James Shawn Lyke, 44, of Carlisle, PA, passed away at his home on July 1, 2016. He was born October 5, 1971 to Sandra Eileen Denbow Lyke and the late George Edward Lyke Sr. He is also survived by his wife of 15 years, Amy L. Gitt Lyke.

James was a member of American Legion South Mountain Post and the Eagles Aerie 1299.

In addition to his Mother and wife, James is survived by a sister, Debra (William E.) Leonard; a brother, George "Eddie" (Penny) Lyke  Jr.; and his paternal grandmother, Eleanor J. (Brown) Lyke. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Riley, Brianna and Kelsey Leonard  and Kyle and Nicholas Lyke; great nieces, Kyleigh Leonard and Audrianna Lynn Lewis; and many aunts, uncles and cousins;  step children, Janelle Thomas and Jarret Garman; step grandchildren, Peyton Thomas and Cayden Garman .  James was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, George Elwood Lyke, maternal grandmother, Stella Mae Denbow Gatts Stevens.
