Dorothy Davis

Dorothy "Dottie" E. Davis, 91, of Gardners, PA  passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 in the UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle. She was born September 17, 1926 in Pitcairn, PA to the late John W. and Elsie (Nedrow) Denisar and was the widow of Paul V. Davis, who passed away May 23, 2009.

Dottie was a member of the Uriah United Methodist Church.  Artistic, she enjoyed oil painting, poetry, crocheting and baking.

Dottie is survived by four children, Melody D. Small and husband, Darryl and Tony M. Davis and wife, Linda, both of Gardners, Sandra A. Baer and husband, Ken of Carlisle and Terry E. Davis and wife, Glenda of Marietta, GA. Also surviving are six grandchildren: Stephan Davis, Stephanie Davis, Melissa Blosser, Devon Spigelmyer, Amber Small and Madysen Small; two great-grandchildren, Hailie Renault and Oisin Stevenson; and brother, Kenneth Denisar of Aspers. She was preceded in death by siblings, John and Dale Denisar and Gwen Hollobaugh.

Services will be held Monday, February 12, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Uriah United Methodist Church, 925 Goodyear Rd., Gardners, PA 17324 with Rev. Andrew L. Ervin officiating. A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 and one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday. Burial will be in the Uriah United Methodist Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
