Donald Bohn

Donald Lee Bohn Sr., 78, of South Middleton Twp. , PA passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 at his home. He was the widower of (Velma) Jean Bohn who passed away July 18, 2016. Don was born June 21, 1938 in Carlisle, PA to the late Alfred Jay and Mariam K. Barbour Bohn.

Don graduated from the Carlisle High School Class of 1957. He was retired as an inspector for the PA Turnpike. He was a member of the Mt. Holly Springs United Methodist Church, a charter member of the Mt. Holly Springs Fish & Game Club and a former member of the Mt. Holly Springs Jaycee.

Survived by his daughter, Nicole A. (Jeff) Helton of Kentucky and three sons, Donald L. (Tina) Bohn Jr., of Boiling Springs, Douglas B. Bohn and Darel E. (Victoria) Bohn of Carlisle. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Mikael W. (Bri) Bohn of Gardners, Alysha K. (John) Reitz of Georgia, Samuel L. and Patrik A. Bohn of Carlisle.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May19, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Mt. Holly Springs United Methodist Church, 202 West Butler St. Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 with Rev. Greg Hench officiating. Interment will be in the Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be 1 hour prior to the services on Friday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to his church. So sorry for the losses of your mother and father. From the time we lived on Raylen when you guys were kids, when I worked with your Dad, your Dad (and also your Mom) had quite an influence on us. Their spirits in word and deed had impact on both Pam & me. Darel, do you remember going along on walks with Pam and Justin (when he was in a stroller and you were about seven)? And by the way Nikki, we "borrowed" your name for our daughter. Peace
