Brian was my Director of Penn National Insurance companies Special Investigative Unit (SIU) when I was cup of claims at Penn National.  After Brian left PNI I hired him to lead the SIU at Lincoln General Insurance, where I was vp of claims.  Brian traveled with me several times to our Lincoln office in New York and I enjoyed listening to the many stories he told me about his law enforcement days.  If I remember correctly, Brian served in the Marines during the Viet Nam era.  I enjoyed working with Brian and valued our friendship.  My sincere condolences to Marcia and the family.  Jim Butler
