Betty Guise

Betty S. Guise, 89, formerly of Gardners, PA passed away Friday, May 11, 2018, in the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle. She was the widow of Dale Miller Guise who passed away May 8, 2001. Betty was born October 18, 1928 in Carlisle to the late Elmer and Belle (Yohe) Sowers. She was a member of the Uriah United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Betty loved crocheting and knitting.

She is survived by her son, Douglas E. (Barbara) Guise, grandson, Thaddeus (Erin) Guise and great-granddaughter, Ella Grace Guise all of Gardners; two step-granddaughters, Miranda (Joel) Lebo and Andrea Moomaw and F iancé, Ben Smyser; step-great-grandchildren, Clayton Lebo and Summer Lebo. Betty was predeceased by her son, Gregory A. Guise, who passed away February 29, 2016.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 501 N. Baltimore Ave., Mt. Holly Springs, PA with Rev. Andrew L. Ervin, officiating. Burial will be held in the Uriah Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM.
